Schuylkill County Fair happenings

Tuesday was Kids Day at the Schuylkill County Fair.

In spite of the heat, families came out to enjoy all of the events at the 23rd edition of the fair in Summit Station, including water relays and a Jello eating contest. Admission for kids 12 and under was just $6, thanks in part to the Schuylkill County Conservation District.

Last night on the main stage, country superstars Exile thrilled the audience with three decades of their hits. A nice crowd enjoyed both shows, despite the heat.

Today is Ethnic Day at the fair, with the gospel sounds of The Peiffers, who'll perform at 7 and 9pm.
