STS contract details not yet released

It was a normal day for employees and riders in the Schuylkill Transportation System Tuesday.

The union, covering 42 employees, and REDCO, who manages the system, came to terms on a new labor agreement Monday, averting a possible strike.

Details on the new contract are not being released by either side, but according to reports, the rank-and-file members are expected to vote on the package next week.
