Two vehicle crash on Gordon Nagle Trail

A Wednesday morning crash slightly injured several people outside of Pottsville.

Pottsville police say that the crash happened on the Gordon Nagle Trail around 8am. 47-year-old William Crowe of Summit Station was heading north on the Trail when his vehicle crossed the center line and struck a pickup driven by 72-year-old James Eifert of Schuylkill Haven.

Both vehicles were severely damaged. Several children in Crowe's vehicle and both drivers were taken to Pottsville Hospital for treatment.

The cause of the crash has not yet been determined.
