WAYNESBURG, Pa. (AP) - Officials say there was no natural gas service at the Greene County house in which a woman and six children died in a fire. A utility official says the Franklin Township house has been without gas service since May 2005. Space heaters were in use.

TORONTO (AP) - Legislation to protect Great Lakes water is being finalized by the states and provinces surrounding the lakes, including Pennsylvania. The aim is to prevent the water from being siphoned to regions not immediately surrounding the lakes.

BEDFORD, Pa. (AP) - An unidentified skeleton found in Bedford County in 1958 is in the custody of state police. Bedford County prosecutors don't want it buried, contending that it's evidence of an unsolved crime. Authorities believe the man was shot in the head in 1956.

NEW YORK (AP) - JetBlue has canceled its flights in and out of ten airports including Pittsburgh's through today. The discount carrier hopes to get back to full operations tomorrow. The problems began on Wednesday with last week's snowstorms.
