JERUSALEM (AP) - Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice has emerged from talks with Israeli and Palestinian leaders in Jerusalem. Rice says all three parties affirmed their "commitment to a two-state solution" to the Israel-Palestinian conflict. Rice says she'll return to the region for more talks soon.
BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) - Violence in Iraq has killed nearly 30 people today. That number includes nine killed by a car bomb in Ramadi that struck just after a failed suicide attack. Meanwhile, U-S forces have reportedly come under attack north of Baghdad.
NEW YORK (AP) - The founder of JetBlue is, in his words, "humiliated and mortified." He tells The New York Times he's embarrassed by the airline's breakdown in operations during a snowstorm last week. Nearly a quarter of today's flights have been canceled.
MANSFIELD, Ohio (AP) - A 15-year-old boy is in critical condition after being shot in the face outside a hospital emergency room in Mansfield, Ohio. Police say his assailant was a 14-year-old boy who's now being held in a juvenile detention center.
GOVERNMENT CAMP, Ore. (AP) - They're still waiting to be rescued. Three climbers stuck on Oregon's Mount Hood are wrapped in sleeping bags and huddling with a dog to keep warm. Bad weather is slowing efforts to locate the climbers.
