BETHLEHEM, Pa. (AP) - The Valentine's Day storm that coated much of Pennsylvania with snow, sleet and freezing rain has stranded hundreds of motorists on a section of Interstate 78 west of Allentown. PennDOT crews and tow trucks are having trouble moving the vehicles. Many schools remain closed; many others will be opening late today.

YORK, Pa. (AP) - Harley-Davidson officials and union leaders representing striking workers in York plan to meet today. Contract talks were postponed yesterday due to bad weather. Nearly 28-hundred workers have been on strike since February second. They continued picketing yesterday despite the weather.

HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) - State Attorney General Tom Corbett's office will investigate whether legislative leaders broke the law by paying bonuses to staff members. The bonuses totaled three-point-seven (m) million dollars during the past two years. A spokesman for Corbett wouldn't speculate on how long the probe
might take.

PITTSBURGH (AP) - Pittsburgh police have arrested a man suspected of raping seven women from 1988 to 2001. Authorities say 49-year-old Keith Wood was arrested Tuesday. Investigators say they used D-N-A to link the suspect to the rape of a woman in July 2000. Police say tests are being done on D-N-A evidence from the other rape scenes.

ATLANTA (AP) - The Food and Drug Administration is warning consumers not to eat certain jars of Peter Pan or Great Value peanut butter because of the risk of salmonella contamination. The affected jars have a product code on the lid that begins with the number "two-one-one-one." The jars were sold in Pennsylvania and four other states.
