Snow Emergencies: updated as of Feb. 15th-6pm

Ashland Borough: Parking prohibited on Hoffman Blvd., from Brock Street to Centre Street, and on Centre Street, from Front to 23rd Streets. Residents are asked to move their cars from these locations. Vehicles not moved will be fined $50 and towed away.

Branch Township: Till Further Notice

Mahanoy City: No parking on Centre and Main Street. Violators will be towed.

Middleport: Snow emergency. Cars need to be removed from Washington Street.

Minersville: Snow Emergency now in effect. Cars must be removed from Sunbury Street by 8pm.

Mount Carbon Borough: No parking on Main Street.

Orwigsburg: No parking on even side of the streets, and no parking on the Square.

Palo Alto: Snow emergency in effect till further notice

Pottsville: Snow Emergency plan with restricted parking.

Rush Township: Snow Emergency till further notice

Shenandoah: No parking on Main and Centre Streets from Midnight to 7am Wednesday. On north side of Centre Street, from Vine to Franklin, parking is restricted from Midnight to 8am. Parking is prohibited in all alleys.

Tamaqua Borough-State of Emergency-All non-essential travel should be avoided. Rest of the list on website.

Williamstown Borough-Snow emergency. No parking on Market Street and all other listed snow emergency routes.

Roads:

Interstate 78: Closed between Exit 19 and 49. All vehicles and stranded motorists have been removed but snow removal operations will continue.

Interstate 81: Closed from Fort Indiantown Gap to Mile Marker 151

Interstate 80: Eastbound, between mile marker 241 and I-81 Junction.
