REDFIELD, N.Y. (AP) - The lake-effect snow that's been pummeling parts of upstate New York could finally end today. Some areas along Lake Ontario have been buried under eleven feet of snow in the past
week. A new storm's brewing in the center of the country and will head east over the next couple of days.

WASHINGTON (AP) - Congressional Democrats are worried the Bush administration is building a case to attack Iran. The military has accused Iran of fueling sectarian violence in Iraq. Senator Ron Wyden says he and other lawmakers will "insist on accountability" in the White House.

BEIJING (AP) - A South Korean official says six-party North Korea nuclear talks could be extended one more day. U-S diplomats at the talks in Beijing say they've made their offers and the responsibility for resolving the nuclear standoff rests with Pyongyang.

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Natalie Maines says Grammy voters are "using their freedom of speech" and the Dixie Chicks get the message. The country trio criticized for their comments about President Bush during the run-up to the Iraq war left with five trophies last night. The Red Hot Chili Peppers won four. Mary J. Blige won three.

LONDON (AP) - A British pharmacy chain will start a trial program on Valentine's Day to sell Viagra without a prescription. Men between 30 and 65 will have to have a quick medical screening to buy the drug, and will have to see a doctor if they want a refill.
