Fire destroys Reading Anthracite trailer

A fire destroys a trailer at a Schuylkill County stripping pit.

State Troopers say someone set a trailer on fire at a stripping pit in Wadesville, New Castle Township, early Friday morning.

It was used as a foreman's office and was owned by Reading Anthracite.

The trailer was completely destroyed and is estimated to be worth $5,000.

Anyone with information is asked to call State Police at Frackville at 874-5300.
