Fair concludes

The 23rd edition of the Schuylkill County Fair is in the books.

Cleanup began following Saturday night's performance of Felix Cavaliere's Rascals to close the fair in Summit Station.

Attendance was down by several thousand compared to last year, due in large part to the heat midweek. Crowds rebounded substantially after the weather finally broke.

After cleanup is completed this week, organizers will begin the task of planning and preparing for next year's Schuylkill County Fair.
