WASHINGTON (AP) - The U-S International Trade Commission is taking a new look today at tariffs on foreign steel and automakers and the steel industry say jobs and profitability are at stake. The I-T-C will consider whether tariffs on imported corrosion-resistant steel from six countries should continue. The duties have been in place since 1993.

PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Democrat Bob Casey told Senator Rick Santorum that he plans to release his I-R-S filings for the last five years today, and he asked Santorum to do the same. He said he would. Last night's event at the National Constitution Center marks the last time the two candidates will debate before the November election.

CHICAGO (AP) - The maker of flu shots for children three and under says most of this year's U-S supply will be delayed for at least three weeks. Sanofi Pasteur in Swiftwater, Pennsylvania, is the sole maker of FluZone. It says it's taking longer than expected to produce the injected flu vaccine for young children.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - The latest in a series of public hearings on a proposal to increase fines for mine operators who violate federal safety rules is scheduled today in Charleston, West Virginia. Coal companies, industry lawyers and lobbyists have criticized the Bush administration proposal during previous hearings across the country.

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) - North Carolina health officials have announced a recall of egg salad made by Ballard's Farm Sausage Incorporated because of possible contamination. The salad was sold in 12-ounce containers as Ballard's Farm Egg Salad at Wal-Mart and other food retailers in eight states, including Pennsylvania.
