KANDAHAR, Afghanistan (AP) - Four NATO soldiers have been killed in a suicide bombing in southern Afghanistan. An Afghan official says Canadian troops were handing out candy to children when they were attacked by a bomber on a bicycle.
SYDNEY, Australia (AP) - Videos taken by Australian soldiers in Iraq could lead to some Australian troops being kicked out of the military. One photo shows a soldier pointing a pistol at the head of a man wearing Arab clothing. The Asian edition of Time says the videos were taken as part of an "unofficial" video-making competition.
WHITE HOUSE (AP) - President Bush turns his attention to Iran's nuclear program and the Middle East this week with a visit to New York and a speech to the U-N General Assembly. Bush will meet with the presidents of Iraq, the Palestinian Authority and France, which supports anti-nuclear efforts in Iran.
SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - The country's largest grower of organic produce says its organic spinach has been cleared as a source of E.coli-tainted spinach. But Natural Selection Foods also packages conventionally grown spinach, and its brands remain under recall.
BOSTON (AP) - The Kennedy family is remembering Patricia Kennedy Lawford for her "unconditional love and support." The sixth of Joseph and Rose Kennedy's nine children has died in New York at the age of 82. She merged politics with Hollywood with her marriage to actor Peter Lawford.
