WASHINGTON (AP) - The N-F-L says go ahead and get ready for some football this weekend. It's waving off an Internet threat that radiological "dirty" bombs will be exploded at several stadiums on Sunday. The government says the threat is not credible.

SEOUL, South Korea (AP) - Chinese envoys met with North Korea's leader today amid worries the country would test another nuclear device. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is in South Korea to push Seoul to fully support sanctions against the North.

BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) - People waiting to buy gasoline were among those killed today when a suicide bomber attacked a police station in northern Iraq. The blast destroyed cars at a gas station near the police office in Mosul. At least 12 people are dead.

WASHINGTON (AP) - About a third of the American voters in a new A-P-Ipsos poll say they're skeptical about whether ballots are tallied accurately on Election Day. The U-S had some of the lowest levels of confidence among nine countries where the polling was conducted.

NEW YORK (AP) - The National League season comes down to one game tonight. The New York Mets beat the St. Louis Cardinals 4-to-2 last night to force game seven at Shea Stadium. The winner plays the Detroit Tigers in the World Series.
