TRIAL UPDATE DAY FOUR-MIDDAY

FILED BY BRITTANY AT 1PM THURSDAY

TESTIMONY BEGAN AFTER NINE AM WITH PROSECUTION CALLING JOHN KACZMARCYZK, AN OFFICER WITH MAHANOY CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT, TO THE STAND. HE HAD DOCUMENTED SOME INJURIES ON RAMIREZ.

SHENANDOAH AMBULANCE PARAMEDIC, ANN MARIE KOVALWESKI, WAS SECOND TO TESTIFY. SHE DID NOT COME IN CONTACT WITH RAMIREZ UNTIL HE REACHED THE HELI-PAD. ELIZABETH SCHLACK, THE FIRST EYEWITNESS TO TESTIFY, DESCRIBED WHAT SHE SAW THE NIGHT OF JULY 12th WHEN SHE DIALED 911.

BEN LAWSON, THE FIRST OF THE YOUNG MEN PRESENT THAT NIGHT, WAS CROSS-EXAMINED FOR NEARLY TWO HOURS ABOUT WHAT HE REMEMBERS FROM THAT NIGHT. BRIAN SCULLY, ANOTHER OF THE MEN PRESENT THAT NIGHT, TOOK THE STAND SHORTLY BEFORE NOON, AND CROSS EXAMINATION IS SCHEDULED TO CONTINUE AFTER LUNCH.
