FIRE UPDATE-4:40PM

THE INVESTIGATION INTO THE FIRE THAT DESTROYED THE FORMER MADY'S CARWASH IN POTTSVILLE WILL CONTINUE ON TUESDAY. THAT'S ACCORDING TO TODD MARCH, POTTSVILLE CITY FIRE CHIEF. HE TELLS WPPA/T102 NEWS THAT THE CAUSE THAT TOTALED MUCH OF THE VACANT BUSINESS IS STILL UNDETERMINED. MARCH SAID THAT THE BUILDING WAS IN FORECLOSURE, OWNED BY SUSQUEHANNA BANK, AND DID HAVE ELECTRICITY CONNECTED WHEN THE FIRE HAPPENED. THREE FIREFIGHTERS WHO FELL ON THE ICE ARE COMING ALONG NICELY. MARCH, CITY FIRE INVESTIGATOR BILL DEWALD AND STATE POLICE FIRE MARSHAL JOHN BURNS WILL CONTINUE TO SIFT THROUGH THE RUBBLE THAT CAUSED $350 THOUSAND DOLLARS IN DAMAGE.
