High School Football

The two Schuylkill County high school football teams in action on Saturday night continue on in the playoffs. North Schuylkill came back from a 26-14 3rd quarter deficit to beat Northern Lehigh, 33-26. Ed Pavalko scored the first three NS TD's, and Kody Flail scored twice in the 4th quarter. Steve Enis and Zack Hogan each had interceptions in the last 3:00 of the game. The Spartans will face West Catholic next weekend.

The Tri-Valley Bulldogs raced to a three-score lead, and held on to win, 28-14, over Saint Pius X of Pottstown. The Dawgs face Southern Columbia next weekend.
