PIEKARSKY AND DONCHAK TO DO JAIL TIME

BRANDON PIEKARSKY AND DERRICK DONCHAK, FOUND GUILTY OF SIMPLE ASSAULT AND ALCOHOL RELATED CHARGES IN THE CASE OF LUIS RAMIREZ IN APRIL, HAVE BEEN SENTENCED. ABOUT 60 PEOPLE FILED INTO COURTROOM NUMBER ONE THIS AFTERNOON, AND HEARD CHARACTER TESTIMONY AND ATTORNEY STATEMENTS ON BEHALF OF PIEKARSKY AND DONCHAK, JUDGE BALDWIN SENTENCED DERRICK DONCHAK TO 6 TO 20 MONTHS ON THE SIMPLE ASSAULT CHARGE, 1-3 MONTHS ON CORRUPTION OF MORALS OF A MINOR, SERVED CONSECUTIVELY, AND 1 TO 3 MONTHS CONCURRENT SENTENCES ON OTHER CORRUPTION CHARGES. BRANDON PIEKARSKY WILL SERVE 6 TO 23 MONTHS IN COUNTY PRISON AND 7 DAYS SENTENCE ON THE PURCHASING ALCOHOL BY A MINOR. BOTH YOUNG MEN WILL HAVE FINES AND COSTS TO PAY AS WELL. THE DEFENSE FOR BOTH ARE CONTEMPLATING APPEAL OF THE SENTENCE. DONCHAK AND PIEKARSKY ARE TO REPORT TO THE COUNTY PRISON ON MONDAY, JULY 19TH.
