BERKS SHOOTER LEFT SUICIDE NOTE BEHIND



AUTHORITIES SAY A MAN WHO FATALLY SHOT SHERIFF'S DEPUTY KYLE PAGERLY WEDNESDAY NIGHT HAD LEFT A SUICIDE NOTE BEHIND. AFTER A TWO-DAY SEARCH, POLICE FOUND 25-YEAR-OLD MATTHEW CONNOR IN A WOODED AREA BEHIND HIS PARENTS HOME IN ALBANY TOWNSHIP, DRESSED FROM HEAD TO TOE IN CAMOUFLAGE AND ARMED WITH AN AK-47 SEMI-AUTOMATIC RIFLE. PAGERLY DIED IN THE EXCHANGE OF GUNFIRE LEAVING BEHIND HIS WIFE WHO IS EXPECTING THEIR FIRST CHILD. POLICE WERE SERVING CONNOR WITH A WARRANT FOR HIS ARREST.

METH LAB IN FRACKVILLE



A WEST MAHANOY TOWNSHIP MOTEL WAS THE SCENE OF THE ARREST FOR TWO COLUMBIA COUNTY RESIDENTS. 43 YEAR OLD LARRY WILCOX AND 36 YEAR OLD CATHERINE WOMER BOTH OF BLOOMSBURG WERE CHARGED WITH RUNNING A METH LAB FROM THE GRANNY'S MOTEL ON COAL ST IN FRACKVILLE. BOTH WILCOX AND WOMER WHERE COMMITTED TO SCHUYLKILL COUNTY PRISON IN LIEU OF 50 THOUSAND DOLLARS BAIL.


POLICE INVESTIGATING THEFT

SATE POLICE AT SCHUYLKILL HAVEN POLICE ARE CONTINUING TO INVESTIGATE A THEFT THAT OCCURRED EARLIER THIS WEEK AT MORGANS SERVICE IN TREMONT. REPORTS SAY THAT SOMEONE ENTERED THE PROPERTY LATE SUNDAY OR EARLY MONDAY CAUSED CLOSE TO $500 DAMAGE TO THE BUSINESS. CLOSE TO $200 IN CASH WAS STOLEN ALONG WITH A PELLET GUN AND C-O-2 CARTRIDGES. ANYONE WITH INFORMATION IS ASKED TO CALL STATE POLICE AT 593-2000.
