A POTTSVILLE WOMAN ADMITTED THURSDAY TO DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE WHEN HER VEHICLE CRASHED INTO A PORT CARBON DAY CARE LAST NOVEMBER. JENNIFER ANNE MOCK, 37, ALSO PLEADED GUILTY TO RECKLESSLY ENDANGERING ANOTHER PERSON AND CARELESS DRIVING. ACCORDING TO THE REPUBLICAN HERALD, JUDGE CYRUS PALMER DOLBIN DID NOT SET A SENTENCING DATE.
MOTORCYCLE CRASH
A MOTORCYCLE STRUCK A PARKED VEHICLE AFTER ITS DRIVER SUDDENLY JUMPED OFF. TWENTY-THREE YEAR OLD, BRIAN KREISER OF JONESTOWN JUMPED OFF HIS MOTORCYCLE WHILE TRAVELING NORTH ON STATE ROUTE 209 IN PORTER TOWNSHIP. HIS BIKE THEN SKIDDED ON ITS SIDE, CRASHING INTO A PARKED CAR ON THE EAST BERM. KREISER WAS WEARING A HELMET AND HAD MINOR INJURIES.
MAN APPROACHES CHILDREN
LOCAL AUTHORITIES CAUTION RESIDENTS TO KEEP WATCH OF THEIR CHILDREN. THREE REPORTS HAVE BEEN MADE IN RECENT WEEKS INVOLVING CHILDREN BEING APPROACHED BY A MAN ATTEMPTING TO LURE THEM TO HIS VEHICLE. BOTH THE CHILDREN WERE TARGETED IN THE AREAS OF PINE GROVE AND MINERSVILLE. ANYONE WITH INFORMATION IS ASKED TO CONTACT LOCAL AUTORITIES.
