CRASH
A VIRGINIA WOMAN HAD MINOR INJURIES FOLLOWING A CRASH ON INTERSTATE 81 SUNDAY AFTERNOON. 21 YEAR OLD SHAUNA MOJADDIDI WAS SOUTHBOUND IN RYAN TOWNSHIP WHEN SHE FELL ASLEEP AT THE WHEEL. THE VEHICLE TRAVELED DOWN A SLIGHT EMBANKMENT AND THEN ROLLED OVER. MOJADDIDI WAS TRAPPED IN THE VEHICLE AND HAD TO BE REMOVED BY EMERGENCY PERSONNEL. THE CRASH HAPPENED BEFORE 3PM.
POTTSVILLE MAN CHARGED IN THEFT
ONE MAN IS ARRESTED AND THREE OTHERS ARE BEING SOUGHT IN THE THEFT OF A POTTSVILLE MAN’S ATV. POTTSVILLE P.D. SAYS THAT JOHN MILLER JR. OF PIERCE STREET REPORTEDLY TOOK THE VEHICLE FROM THE HOME OF WILLIAM SEARS LAST MONTH. MILLER WAS CHARGED FOR HIS INVOLVEMENT WHILE TRANSPORTING THE ATV TO A SHOP IN NEW PHILADELPHIA. MILLER WAS ARRAIGNED AND RELEASED ON UNSECURED BAIL.

TWO PEOPLE ESCAPED INJURY IN A TWO VEHICLE CRASH IN PORT CARBON LAST NIGHT. 74 YEAR OLD CATHERINE SNOPEK WAS DRIVING HER VEHICLE FROM THE TURKEY HILL MINIT MARKET ONTO PIKE STREET WHEN SHE PULLED INTO THE PATH OF JACQUELINE COSTY'S CAR. BOTH VEHICLES HAD SLIGHT DAMAGE.

CALIFORNIA, PA. (AP) - DIVERS IN WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA SEARCHING FOR A CAR THAT HAD SLIPPED INTO THE MONONGAHELA RIVER, CAME ACROSS A PICKUP TRUCK CONTAINING A BADLY DECOMPOSED BODY. THE DIVE TEAM FOUND THE CAR THEY WERE LOOKING FOR, BUT ALSO FOUND THE TRUCK CONTAINING THE BODY. OFFICIALS BELIEVE THE TRUCK MAY HAVE BEEN THERE FOR FOUR YEARS.
COATESVILLE, PA. (AP) - PROSECUTORS IN SUBURBAN PHILADELPHIA HAVE ACCUSED A MOTHER OF TAMPERING WITH EVIDENCE IN THE CASE OF HER SON. LAQUANTA CHAPMAN IS CHARGED IN THE ALLEGED MURDER AND DISMEMBERMENT OF A TEENAGER LAST FALL. AUTHORITIES ALLEGE THAT CYNTHIA CHAPMAN GRAVES, OF COATESVILLE,TRIED TO HIDE HER SON'S CAR BY DRIVING IT TO NEW JERSEY AND LEAVING IT.

MIRINDA BOOB IS NOW CHARGED WITH FIRST-DEGREE MURDER IN THE AUG. 23 DEATH OF SAMUEL BOOB, THE FATHER OF FOUR SMALL CHILDREN. SHE IS ALSO CHARGED WITH SOLICITATION TO COMMIT MURDER AND CONSPIRACY.
