NEIFERT WAS AIRLIFTED TO LEHIGH VALLEY HOSPITAL WHERE HE WAS TREATED AND RELEASED. THE INVESTIGATION CONTINUES.

BEFORE A FULL AUDIENCE, THE BOARD DISCUSSED THE PROPOSED RENOVATION PROJECT FOR THE ATHLETIC FIELD AND TRACK AT THE HIGH SCHOOL, BUT ONCE AGAIN, DID NOT VOTE TO PROCEED OR TURN IT DOWN. THE TRIAL IN MONROE COUNTY IS OVER A HOME INVASION ROBBERY THAT 35-YEAR-OLD HUGO SELENSKI IS ACCUSED OF COMMITTING IN 2003. SELENSKI IS ALSO CHARGED WITH MURDER IN LUZERNE COUNTY, WHERE HE LIVES. HE IS ACCUSED OF KILLING MICHAEL KERKOWSKI AND TAMMY FASSETT, WHOSE REMAINS WERE FOUND BURIED ON HIS KINGSTON TOWNSHIP PROPERTY IN 2003. PROSECUTORS SAY FLEX TIES AND DUCT TAPE USED IN THE MONROE COUNTY ROBBERY ARE SIMILAR TO THE TIES AND TAPE USED ON KERKOWSKI AND FASSETT. SELENSKI WAS ACQUITTED IN 2006 OF KILLING TWO SUSPECTED DRUG DEALERS WHOSE BODIES ALSO WERE FOUND ON THE PROPERTY.
