The Schuylkill County District Attorney' s Office reports that they have taken Russell R. Rehrig into custody. Rehrig was taken into custody by members of the Atlantic City Sheriff's Department, Fugitive Warrant Unit.

Rehrig was apprehended on Pacific Avenue, in front of the Trump Hotel and Casino, in Atlantic City, New Jersey at 10:00 pm last night. Information on Rehrig's where abouts came from a tip from a Pennsylvania resident who was vacationing in Atlantic city and observed him walking on the Boardwalk.

A bench warrant for Rehrig's arrest was issued on 9/4/07 for failure to appear at court for his jury trial. Rehrig faces numerous counts of Rape of a Child, Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse, Statutory Sexual Assault, Aggravated Indecent Assault, Indecent Assault, Corruption of Minors and Terroristic Threats.
