WASHINGTON (AP) - Thousands are expected in Washington today for an anti-war protest in advance of Tuesday's fourth anniversary of the war in Iraq. They'll march from the Vietnam Veterans Memorial to the Pentagon. Other protests are planned in cities around the country.

BAGHDAD (AP) - At least six people are dead after a suicide truck bombing near Fallujah, Iraq, last night. Dozens of others were wounded. Police say they don't know what was in the tanker truck but that some of the injured apparently inhaled noxious fumes.

NEW YORK (AP) - New York isn't letting a winter storm interfere with its St. Patrick's Day parade today. An estimated two million people will be watching. Clean up crews have been busy clearing away snow and ice. Wintry weather has postponed parades in Connecticut and Pennsylvania.

NEW YORK (AP) - The East Coast is getting one last blast of winter before spring arrives next week. More than a foot of snow has fallen in upstate New York and western Massachusetts. Airlines have canceled more than a thousand flights. Eight people have died in car wrecks.

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (AP) - A former truck driver has been sentenced to death in California for the killings of four women. Wayne Ford was convicted of first-degree murder in the mutilation murders. Currently, all California executions are on hold in a legal dispute over pain.
