WHITE HOUSE (AP) - Iraq will fill up President Bush's plate this week. Bush meets with State Department officials this morning. It's the first of several strategy sessions in the days ahead as Bush charts a new course in the war. Bush also plans to have meetings with historians and military commanders.
BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) - There have been at least four bomb attacks in Baghdad in the past day. Three U-S soldiers died in one of the attacks last night. Blasts this morning killed at least two Iraqis.
BEIJING (AP) - According to China, the six-party nuclear talks on North Korea will start up again next Monday in Beijing. The talks have been stalled for more than a year as Pyongyang protests U-S financial sanctions.
JOHNSON SPACE CENTER (AP) - Space shuttle Discovery is racing toward the international space station, where it will dock later on today. On Sunday, the Discovery crew inspected the shuttle for any damage from liftoff and gave it a clean bill of health.
CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) - A fraternity member at Oregon State University is under arrest for allegedly shooting a transient who was rummaging in the garbage behind the frat house. Police say after talking with members of Alpha Gamma Rho, they discovered the students deeply resent transients and some have shot at them in the past.
