WASHINGTON (AP) - President Bush will address the nation Monday-- the fifth anniversary of the September Eleventh attacks. Bush also will visit each attack site. He'll use his weekend radio chat today to continue a recent string of speeches recalling the horror of the attacks and the importance of the war on terror.

CARROLL, N.Y. (AP) - "The game was up and he knew it." That's why one police official says Ralph Bucky Phillips surrendered Friday night in Pennsylvania after five months on the run. He's accused of shooting three New York state troopers, killing one of them. He has a court appearance today in Buffalo, New York.

KENNEDY SPACE CENTER (AP) - They're hoping the fifth time will be the charm for Atlantis. The space shuttle is on track for launch at 11:15 this morning Eastern time after four postponements in thepast two weeks. It's mission involves a major expansion of the space station.

KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) - The capital of Afghanistan is under a security crackdown today as thousands of people mark the fifth anniversary of the assassination of a leader of the fight against the Taliban. Underscoring the Taliban's resurgence, a suicide bomber yesterday killed 16 people, including two U-S soldiers.

MANHATTAN, Kan. (AP) - College campuses around the U-S are welcoming 15-thousand students from Saudi Arabia along with an infusion of tuition cash from their government. An exchange program worked out with the State Department is aimed at giving future Saudi leaders a better look at America.
